Claremont Finance Corporation (Australasia) Pty Ltd (Claremont), is a wholly Australian-owned equipment and general finance company active in Australia and New Zealand.
Since 1995, we have been providing rental and leasing services directly to clients, as well as specialising in the provision of Vendor Finance Programs for major Australian and international IT&T companies.
Operating from offices in Melbourne & Sydney, Claremont looks after clients across Australia & New Zealand. Our specialist staff utilise our range of financial products to tailor a solution for each Vendor and Client, at all times mindful of our philosophy that all parties must gain from each transaction.
Our Directors have each operated in the finance industry for over 20 years, coming together now under the Claremont banner to offer an exceptional product backed by a commitment to service.
Lloyd Bickerton- Director
Lloyd Bickerton has over 20 years experience in finance, including six years with Rentworks Ltd (now part of Alleasing), which was one of Australia’s leading specialty rental companies, where he held the position of National Sales Director and acting COO. He then founded National Rental Corporation Limited, specialising in the rental of IT communication and medical equipment to the Government and corporate sector. Lloyd sold the business in 2007. Lloyd’s extensive experience in structuring standard and non-standard rental solutions means that Claremont are able to deliver uniquely tailored finance solutions for large corporates and government bodies.
Hugh Taylor- Director
Hugh, a qualified engineer, has been involved in the finance industry since 1988. Based out of Sydney, he has previously held senior positions at Centrelease and Berkman Capital Finance. Hugh is a founding partner of Claremont and has been instrumental in the set up and running of Vendor Rental programs since May 1994.
Peter Turnbull- Director
Peter’s 30 year history in finance began at Mercantile Credits. He was previously Victorian state manager of Hunter MMI Finance/Capita Corporation. After 10 years there, he joined Claremont as a director in 1996 to manage Vendor programs and to set up and run the back office operations required for thousands of contracts.
Andrea Brown- Director
Andrea has 30 years of finance experience with companies such as CAGA, Societe Generale and Rental & Finance. Her roles have included both administration and sales. Andrea joined Claremont in 1996 and looks after some of our most strategic vendor programs.
